To this end we explore technologies and methods to the people under his direct or indirect interaction with the computer in his behavior to follow (User Behavior Tracking), to analyze its behavior and insight into the current application to be considered (User Behavior Analysis). The knowledge we use to develop affective and perceptive applications.

With our research we focus on the one on the development of assistive mobile applications. On the other hand, we develop in close cooperation with the competence area Knowledge Engineering Technologies’ adaptive Electronic Performance Support Systems.

Applications can be in the mobile sector, such as mobile assistance systems, Virtual and Augmented Reality as the “AR-interactive maintenance manual” or in the office area. Through the use of usability engineering and user-centered design, we ensure the development of user-friendly and user-friendly applications. We are extending the development model of the User-Centered Design to the development of adaptive and perceptive applications.The central theme of the competence area is the teaching and learning with the Internet and new media.

We develop practical procedures and tools for open learning environments, educational programs, as well as very specific content to users worldwide and at any time via the Internet and can be accessed simultaneously on the respective, individual learning needs.

In an interdisciplinary team of scientists, educators and designers, we edit the projects for the development and application of technologies and approaches to learning and teaching with digital media, for the computerized management of information and knowledge as well as the systematic development of learning and knowledge content and learning opportunities.

The goal of our research is the development of perceptual and affective applications that people in work and leisure assist and support.
